Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan is currently busy with her upcoming film Singham returns, starring Ajay Devgan in the main lead. The film is suppose to be bigger and better this time. It is said that this film is five times larger than the previous one. Kareena Kapoor Khan is quite excited about her film and is busy promoting it now. But actress Kareena Kapoor has always been in the limelight for rejecting films and recently for her take on working with her husband.
When Kareena was asked that why she rejected so many films, she said, “No Comments. People know that I am reading a lot of scripts and I am open to reading more. It is an actor’s prerogative to say yes or no to a film.Why is such a big deal made of it? I have time and again said that I don’t need to do a heroine oriented film just to prove something. Or I do not need to do ‘X’ film just because it is the ‘done’ thing. When I feel the role is best for me, I will do it. It’s not as if I am shying away from any particular role. I am waiting and waiting to do a role that suits my personality and also fits in my timeline.”
And even she was asked that does she matches her diaries with her husband Saif Ali Khan, and bebo said, “No, our diaries are being matched for vacation in August and September. Time is important. Saif and I have enough time and space apart, we need enough time together also. From March this year, I’ve been shooting in Goa and Hyderabad. Saif has been working in Los Angeles and Detroit. Honestly, I’ve lost track of where all his shootings have taken him. When I was doing 5 films, he was doing 2. Now that he is doing 5 films, I’m doing 2. As we speak, he is in London. He cannot keep coming back to India, so I have to fly to meet him. It is nice to sometimes plan our lives together. There is no denying that there’s a shift in gear.”
