Richa Chadda is currently filming for director Sudhir Mishra’s upcoming film Aur Devdas, in which she plays the role of Paro. She is also filming for director Pooja Bhatt’s next filmCabaret as the female lead.

How Mumbai's roads prepared Richa for 'Tamanchey'

Richa Chadda, who will be seen as a roguish character mouthing foul language in the film "Tamanchey," says the traffic on Mumbai roads had already trained her in the use of such language.

When asked if she had any particular person to teach her the way of talking she has adapted for the film, Richa said: "Mumbai roads were a big teacher. Whenever I am driving, my mind is constantly clouded with such words and language. I have been living in Mumbai for five to sox years and so, I was well prepared."

Richa was seen in a similar character named Bholi Punjaban in the film "Fukrey" as well, but she says the two characters are very different.

"There is no similarity between the two. I started working on 'Tamanchey' before 'Fukrey.' The only thing is that both are very confident characters. But this girl (in 'Tamanchey') knows how to use her sexuality to her advantage," the 25-year-old said here Thursday at the film's trailer launch. 

"She is confident and uses her charm. Bholi didn't need to, she had a lot of people working for her," she added.

"Tamanchey" also stars Nikhil Dwivedi and hits theatres Sep 19.

Well Bollywood celebrities often deal with the link up issues. Sometimes it is the co-stars or friends or even your directors or producers that they are linked to. But on the other hand it is quite a sensitive topic for the actors. They are asked questions about it, they have to give explanations and what not. But this Delhi girl, Richa Chadda, finds her link – up with actor Shahid Kapoor to be the worst of all. As per her linking her up with Shahid Kapoor was the most bizarre thing anyone could do.
Richa Chadda on her link – ups say, “Linking me up with Shahid Kapoor was the most bizarre rumour that I ever heard about myself. Shahid and I haven’t even had a conversation ever, so linking me up with him was absured. We only met at an award ceremony and it’s not that we were the only two people there….there were others from the industry too.” Recently the rumours started of their link up when the two were spotted together at an award ceremony. It was said that Richa is the new girl in Shahid’s life, but the 26 year old actress denies it all.

Not only Richa denies all the rumours but she also says that she is not seeing anyone currently. The actress says. “I don’t know who will have the time to date me because I don’t have any time for myself these days!” We saw Richa Chadda in some power packed performances in Ganga of wasseypur 1 and 2, Golliyon ki Raasleela Ram Leela and Fukrey. But now in the second half of the year she has her four films lined up for the release. But even before that we will see her performing in a play with Kalki Koechlin in Delhi where her family will also be a part of the audience.
