Lahore: Wasim Akram has married an Australian female named Shaniera few days back in a private marriage ceremony. Wasim and his close friends attended the marriage ceremony in which media was not invited.
Wasim in her message said that “I married Shaniera in Lahore last week in a simple ceremony and this is the start of a new life for me, my wife and for my kids.”
Wasim Akram’s marriage took place last
week in Lahore, which was attended by only close friends and relatives.
Shaniera Thomson on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr with Wasim Akram came to
Pakistan where they appeared in front of the media. Media was surprised
when Shaniera spoke in Urdu language to media at airport.Wasim Akram
said both are very happy on this occasion. Shaniera has accepted Islam
as a new religion.
