Well its quite common in Bollywood that the actors walk in and out of the films. Before actually finalizing the star cast many speculations are made as to who will star in that particular film or who are the possible actors which can be a part of the film. Similar stories were happening with director Nikhil Advani’s next film Katti Batti. It is a film about the new age relationships starring Imran Khan as the male lead, however, the female lead of the film was not finalized as yet and even speculations were made that Kangana has finally walked out of the film but now the news is confirmed and finally we will see Kangana Ranaut opposite Imran Khan in the film.
Now finally the latest buzz is that Kangana has given her final nod for the new age love story and so we will get to see a fresh pair on-screen. Nikhil Advani the director of the film told a daily, “We wanted actors who would justify the script. I’m elated by the lead pair, as it has been a dream to work with Kangana – despite such a good body of work, she still brings humility to her craft. Imran on the other hand, lends a fresh approach.” Well on this fresh pairing and when asked about the film, actor Imran Khan said, “I’ve worked with UTV on successful films like Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, I Hate Love Stories, Delhi Belly and Ek Main Aur Ek Tu. Hope the majic is recreated this time as well.”
Kangana in the film will be portraying the role Payal and she said, “It is a beautiful story woven around the battle of the sexes. It will change the perspective of love stories of Bollywood. My association with this film cooperation goes back to Life in a Metro and Fashion, two of my most memorable films.” Well, now thats what you call an experiment. Now we at Box Office 18 hope that both the actors do well in the film and we get some real good cinema to watch.
